Holiday Beagle Bash, Part II

Another highlight of Atlanta Beagle Rescue’s Holiday Beagle Bash was Bowie! I had only heard stories of this handsome fella but finally got to meet him. He is SOOOOOO freakin’ cute! Bowie is a sage beagle who loves people, especially kids, and can’t get enough lovin’! He’s outgrown all the puppy antics and requires little more than a daily stroll, a warm bed, a low-cal food (he’s got a few pounds to lose), and a person or persons to love. He’s available for adoption through ABR so hurry with your applications to make this distinguished gentleman a part of your clan!

Holiday Beagle Bash, Part I

The Holiday Beagle Bash was AWESOME this weekend! Although the weather was definitely more than chilly, Atlanta Beagle Rescue had fans waiting for us even before we got there. Several families came to meet potential beagle buddies, and ABR alum came to visit and show off their new families. I think the best part of the day was watching puppies Freddy and Penelope bond with their new family (see below). Yes, that’s right … two dogs to one family! And boy did that family get a treat. Freddy and Penelope were being fostered in the same home so they already were good friends. I can’t wait to hear how they are doing in their new home!

Reason for Being Behind

So, there is a really good reason why I have been slacking on the Beagle Brigade this week. I’m in the throes of organizing my first official fundraiser for Atlanta Beagle Rescue. Of course, there is so much I want to do and so little time. Here are the details:

If you live in the Atlanta area, please stop by and lend your support to our beagle buddies!

Must See TV!!

Check out this video about the Rolling Dog Ranch, a sanctuary for disabled dogs, cats, and horses. The video features two special beagles, Charlie and Briggs, who were sent to Rolling Dog Ranch by our own Atlanta Beagle Rescue. Both of these rescues operate on the generous donations of people like you. Wouldn’t it be great to give a gift this holiday season that keeps on giving in the lives of animals in need? To find out how you can make a gift in honor of someone, contact Atlanta Beagle Rescue and/or Rolling Dog Ranch!

My boys say, “Thanks!”
